Selena Fox is Chief Executive of New Zealand Tertiary College (NZTC) based in Auckland, New Zealand and New Zealand Tertiary College India, based in Mumbai, India. As Chief Executive she leads one of the largest private providers of specialist early childhood teacher education in New Zealand. Professional areas of interest and expertise include exploring dimensions of leadership and management, distance learning and innovative online teaching and learning initiatives.

Selena has been involved in the New Zealand early childhood sector since 1996 following completion of her Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and Masters of Education degrees in Australia. She has worked with early childhood students in Australia, New Zealand, USA and India, supporting them in their endeavours to attain their early childhood professional qualifications and she has a keen interest in all areas of enabling early childhood teacher education globally.

Selena is a member of the New Zealand Ministry of Education's Tertiary (e)Learning Reference Group, and has at NZTC engaged in adoption of the developing NZ eLearning Guidelines for the support of eLearning in New Zealand tertiary institutions. Selena has lead New Zealand Tertiary College's expansion of its distance study options with the development of ecelearn, an early childhood specialist online teaching and learning initiative, alongside Chip Donohue and the New Zealand Tertiary College team. The ecelearn (www.ecelearn.com) development, an online learning environment dedicated to supporting early childhood teacher education and professional development, provides exemplary online teaching, learning and management solutions for the early childhood profession. Recent ecelearn developments have enabled early childhood teacher education opportunities in India with additional future expansions under current consideration.

Internationally Selena leads the World Forum on Early Care and Education global team of early childhood National Representatives as the International Relations Coordinator for the World Forum Foundation, Seattle USA and is a World Forum Foundation Board member.
