Post Graduate in “Child Development”, College of Home Science, Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, India in 1981.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

CHIREC : (1989 to Present)

Promoted CHIREC in 1989 with a Summer Camp in April and Pre-School in June. The concept of summer camp was new and was an instant success in twin cities. CHIREC established itself as a trendsetter in quality education, integrating activities with academics. CHIREC International School now has strength of 3300 children with the main campus at Kondapur and two branches, one at Jubilee Hills and Gachibowli. The school offers CBSE, Cambridge and IB curricula.

The outstanding contribution of Mrs. Ratna to the community of Hyderabad is her passionate pursuit of excellence in the field of education. CHIREC has the record of offering consistent quality education since 26 years and is reckoned as a premier institution in the twin cities with the Alumni of professionals / students walking on the corridors of best of academic institutions in the country and abroad.

Mrs. Ratna had the exposure and experience of working in the scenario of international education in 1987 to 1988 when she held an assistantship in the college of education at University of IOWA. She had also worked in the Friendship Child Care Centre, IOWA, U.S.A. for one (1986-1987). With her rich and varied experience, she had introduced the concept of finishing school ‘Chrysalis’ for the young ladies. The four batches (1992 to 1995) trained by Chrysalis were immensely thrilled by the program and it was well received by the society.

Honours :

Represented Rotary District 315, Andhra Pradesh as a member of all Women Group Exchange Study Programme to Brazil sponsored by Rotary International in April 1991 for four weeks.

Awarded”Outstanding Achievers Award” by Ficci FLO in 2013.

Ratna Reddy awarded International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge award in 2014 at Stockholm.

My view about vision for ECA

It is heartening to see Early Childhood Association becoming a major force in bringing all The Early Childhood Educators to a single platform.
I hope my Masters in the Early Childhood Education clubbed with 26 years of running a premier educational institution would help the association in spreading the cause further.
