My views about Early childhood India.

Children are like buds yet to blossom, if not properly cared for, will soon turn into wilted flowers. They are future of the country, so children must be nurtured well. Young minds, like clay, can be easily moulded, so it is very important to provide them with right moral values. They should be provided with resources and guidance so that they can discover their talents rather than thrusting upon them, our wishes and expectations. Every child is differently talented, and can discover it only when left unfettered.

The conventional methods of teaching, which are prevalent in the Indian educational system, should be done away with. Instead of scaring away the child with hefty work load, he should rather be given time and resources, so that he can understand his environment better. This enhances learning manifold. The educational system of India, has remained unchanged for several decades. It is time to evolve and bring new, innovative ideas so that kids enjoy learning, rather than taking it as a burden. Parents and teachers both should be more interactive and friendly, and learning should be more of a practical work than just theoretical mugging up. For a pre-schooler, who has just left home, his teacher is like his second mother. He expects the same warmth and care from her. So, a teacher provides homely environment which makes the kid comfortable and he enjoys learning. Parents should put in consistent efforts too and build an attachment with their child. If this attachment is not made, there can be detrimental effects on the child in their future relationships and independence.
