
Divya Punjabi has been associated with KKEL for the past 22 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Home Science and completed the Cambridge International Diploma in Teacher Training with a distinction. She has completed the Certificate level of the Programme Leader course for Educational Leadership provided by Cambridge. She has attended various workshops related to education – Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner, Understanding by Design hosted by ASCD in Istanbul and many more.

Divya started her career at KKEL as a caring teacher, supervised the company owned Kangaroo Kids centre – Pali Hill, Bandra. She created an atmosphere that was stimulating, encouraging and adaptive to the varied needs of students. She replicated this environment in all the KK centres that she set up for KKEL.
Her expertise has been in leading the preschool curriculum team in ensuring the vision and philosophy of KKEL is translated in curriculum instruction and assessment. She has the talent to guide the preschool team to develop inspiring hands-on curriculum that captures preschoolers’ imagination. She has an in-depth understanding of andragogy and has implemented adult learning principles in formulating teacher competencies with supporting behaviour indicators to observe teachers in class. She is committed to meeting high standards of education at all KKEL schools for which she has travelled to most of the schools and conducted Teaching Development sessions. She has great interpersonal skills, creates a cooperative community of mutual respect in all her interactions with teachers.
Currently as the Culture Custodian of Kangaroo Kids and Billabong High International schools; her prime role is to foster and expound the KKEL culture of igniting human greatness across all associated.
