Bela Raja is a child guidance counselor and special educator.She works with children who have Special Needs and specializes in the area ofSpecific Learning Difficulties.

Bela is the author of the book, "Children with Learning Difficulties - How to Help. A Guide for Parents and Teachers".

Workshops that aregeared towards spreading awareness and sensitivity to the special needs ofchildren are part of her focus. Recently, her efforts have been towards the development of Thinking Skills and Bela has made presentations to this effect,at several institutions around the country.

Bela has co presented a paper on "The transferability of teaching approachesbetween two countries" with respect to inclusion in education at aninternational forum at Edinburgh, Scotland, where 72 countries had attended.

Among her recent body of work, Bela hasproduced a movie called 'Little Dreamers'.It is a 45-minute film in DVD format and is about teaching techniques that canbe used by parents and teachers to enhance academic skills in children with aspecial focus on teaching children how to think and how movement can be usedfor the development of intellectual potential.
